Print the newsletter on a desktop printer. If you are printing only a few copies, you can print your newsletter on your desktop printer. If your printer supports printing on byinch or tabloid paper, you can create a folded newsletter that has 8.
You can use this technique with any publication size that is half that of the paper size. In the Printer name list, select a printer that can print on byinch or tabloid paper. Under Paper , verify that the byinch or tabloid paper size is selected. If Booklet, side-fold is not an available option, the selected paper size may be too small for the pages. Make sure that the paper size is twice the page size.
Under Preview , you can see how two of the pages will appear when they are printed on one tabloid sheet.
On the File menu, click Print Preview to review your work, and then click Close. If your printer supports two-sided printing or duplex printing , verify that Two-sided or Two-sided, flip short side is selected under 2-sided printing options. Note: If you are printing multiple copies of a newsletter that requires multiple sheets of paper, select the Collate check box to keep the pages in order in each copy of your printed publication. Select any other options that you want, and then click Print to print the publication.
If you are printing on tabloid-sized paper, Office Publisher prints the first and last pages on one side of the sheet of paper, the second and next-to-last pages on the other side of the sheet, and so on, as shown here. If your computer doesn't support two-sided printing, the Publisher Printer Setup Wizard starts and guides you through printing a copy of your publication in the right order so that the first and last pages are printed on one sheet of paper, the second and next-to-last pages on another sheet, and so on.

Set the font to bold and relatively large. We will set this shape behind the title and give it a color. I chose a blue color and placed the shape behind the text. You can do so by rich clicking on the shape and in the pop up window select Order and Place Behind Text.
Add a header before your text in a nice big font. I chose Arial Black, 24pt. In word you have preset Style for headers, sun headers and so on.
You can save your own style too. Add another sub title e. Quotations stand out nicely in a newsletter and highlight a message well. Repeat step 7 and add this to the quick styles so you can add it at any time. Enter with the cursor at a point between the text where you would like to add an image.
The add a paragraph and select the Insert Tab, choose Picture and browse to the image you would like to add. I fancied up the newsletter a bit by adding a First Edition Tab, a by-line and some vertical lines.
All elements are easily added via the Insert Tab. In case you have more to say, just add another page, the header and footer will stay, so will the columns and your newsletter will look continues. Now if you like, you can convert it into a PD via the Acrobat Tab in Microsoft or print it out on your desktop printer.
