Billings heights pumpkin patch
Trying to get a bite of a pumpkin dangling from a string challenges youngsters. Parents worked together to plan the event, which included games such as Pin the Tail on the Black Cat;, a Pounce on the Pumpkin balloon-popping contest, Pumpkin Doodle where kids put pumpkin faces together; Pumpkin Bingo using bubblegum as markers; Doughnut Snapping, where kids tried to eat doughnuts suspended from a rack; a Feed the Pumpkin popcorn relay race; Pumpkin Bowling with Nerf balls and water bottles covered with ghosts as pins.
Temporary tattoos were available to add to youngsters' already colorful costumes. And two hayrides took advantage of the pleasant fall night. The school PTA and Heights businesses donated money and other items for the second annual event. And kids got Halloween treat sacks. The party started after some mothers recalled school Halloween parties from days past and approached the school about having a pumpkin party.
